Stephen King's new novel: Under the Dome

I also checked the libraries in my area, well, no luck. All checked out.
(Hum, interesting. See how many "check out"s I've used so far.)
(It seemed like I was wrong. Anywho, I requested a copy. It's a bit over one thousand pages.)

Before I got this book, I was thinking, "What's in this book that mikes it so thick?" After reading some pages, I realized it--Mr. K did it by giving a lot of details. Not necessarily unnecessary, after all, it's S. K. and he's more than able to pull it off, but it does take me a lot of time to read it. I'm about half-way through and still he hasn't revealed what and who put the dome there, and why, let alone how.
